A Clear Day...
Earlier today, before the sun rose on this new view, I was reminded of a song by former Men at Work frontman Colin Hay...the song is called Waiting For My Real Life To Begin...and while the song is wistful, I also find it inspiring.The song ends with the line "On a clear day, I can see a very long way." That's one thing that this new view has yet to provide for me...a long view. For the short view, I can see a long curvy road to my next waypoint. I can see that point...it's on the edge of my horizon, but it's there...and I'm walking to it.
I intend to cherish ever step of my journey and relish the view before me as that waypoint approaches. It may take me every moment of the next 6 months to get there...but I will get there. Perhaps from there I will be standing tall enough to see the long view.
Until then I will enjoy my view...I hope you all can enjoy your own view.
