Serenity's Kiss
It is you that I seek today - not a lass so fair as to make my heart jump, not a lusty partner to make my blood burn...but Tranquility in the purest form.
The sunlight glinting off the lake before me....not another soul to be found. The cry of the Loon or a lone Duck...the wind in the trees.
These are the things my soul craves today...shelter from the storm of emotions that the past has wrought....peace - no longer fearing the dark, but cherishing the light that still shines...the quiet and the stillness that only comes with Serenity's kiss.
